Artist based in London / Taipei

Emma is an artist working primarily with sculpture and installation. Grounded in personal experience and material research, her practice explores how form can embody different states of existence, perception, and relational structures within material and spatial contexts.Working with soft, elastic materials such as foam and stretch mesh, Emma creates unstable and shifting forms through tensions between softness and support, expansion and constraint. Parts of her works often exist as temporary states shaped by specific spatial conditions, oscillating between autonomous entities and extensions of inner states.

Emma 的創作以雕塑與裝置為主要媒介，結合個人經驗與材料研究，關注形態如何在材料與空間之中承載不同的存在狀態、感知經驗與關係結構。她經常使用泡棉、彈性網紗等具有延展性的軟質材料，透過柔軟與支撐、擴張與受限之間的張力，使形態呈現不穩定、流動或持續變化的狀態。作品部分以特定場域為條件，作為一種暫時生成的存在，游移於獨立個體與內在狀態延伸之間。
